Why Forage?

We chose the name Forage because it alludes to the intimate relationship we have with the food that we source and the items that we reclaim to create each series. We are fortunate to live in an area with a bountiful supply of wild and locally cultivated foods. Megan creates each menu with a focus on ingredients found from the woods and yards around us, picked from farmers' fields, or bought from dedicated hands.

Our spaces are designed using items borrowed, thrifted, made, and found from our ambient surroundings. We aim to repurpose found treasures rather than buy new items whenever possible. Our plates, silverware, napkins, and decor are mismatched collections that celebrate the beauty of individuality rather than predictable conformity.

By combining these elements, we strive to create occasions that bring people together to enjoy the pleasures of food and community.
